Structural Behavior of Lightweight Composite Slab System

This study investigate the structural behavior of lightweight composite slab system that consist profiled steel sheet (PSS) attached to dry board (DB) using mechanical screws and with or without infill materials. A total four full-scale panel specimen were tested under four-point bending when subjected static loading. Result test shows increasing thickness profiles gives major effect deflection ultimate load. The load 1.0mm thick is 16.45% 34.45% respectively. Therefore, increased can enhance stiffness strength systems. It also found material used in these experimental minor foamed concrete 21.18% 16.66% Thus, be only for non-structural purposed such as sound proofing fire resistance.
